Channel 7 cricket commentators

Seven has brought together some of the biggest names in world cricket, led by stars from both sides of the divide: Ricky Ponting and Stuart Broad.

Former England international turned popular commentator David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd also joins the team from the third Test in Adelaide.

Ex-Australian coach Justin Langer and opening batsman Matthew Hayden both return alongside Greg Blewett, Simon Katich, Trent Copeland, Aaron Finch and Damien Fleming.

Mel McLaughlin will host the broadcast alongside James Brayshaw, who joins Tim Lane, Alison Mitchell and Alister Nicholson on calling duties through the series.

Five-time ICC Umpire of the Year Simon Taufel returns to offer his perspective while respected journalists Peter Lalor and Bharat Sundaresan will be on deck to report on the biggest breaking news.

Unfiltered joins cricket slate

After debuting in the AFL season, Unfiltered returns to Seven for the summer of cricket as Hamish McLachlan sits down for five special interviews with some of the sport’s biggest names.

The first edition will air on Saturday, November 22 after day two of the first Test.

In a wide-ranging chat, Alex Carey will open up about life in the baggy green, his path from AFL hopeful to Test cricketer and the moments that have defined his career so far — including the infamous Ashes stumping.

The remaining four episodes will feature Ricky Ponting, Meg Lanning, Glenn Maxwell and Jackson Warne.

The Front Bar kicked off with Steve Waugh ahead of the first Test before Stuart Broad joins Mick Molloy, Sam Pang and Andy Maher on Wednesday, November 26.

The Spin also returns from December 4 with Jason Richardson leading a rotating cast of Channel 7 stars — including Lisa Sthalekar, Brad Hodge, Will Pucovski, Jason Behrendorff, Damien Fleming, Aaron Finch and more — to dissect and analyse the biggest stories from the summer of cricket.
