History could be made on Australian football’s night of nights, as the Seven Network delivers every glittering moment of the 2026 Charles Brownlow Medal, live, free and exclusively from 7.30pm AEST Monday, 21 September on Seven and 7plus Sport.
While all eyes will be on Collingwood midfielder Nick Daicos, who enjoyed a stellar 2026 AFL season and firms as the clear favourite to take home the prestigious Brownlow Medal, history has shown nothing is guaranteed on Brownlow night.

With some of the game’s biggest names — including Geelong’s Bailey Smith, Western Bulldogs captain Marcus Bontempelli, and Carlton’s two-time winner Patrick Cripps — also firmly in the mix, Seven has viewers covered for every vote, every round, and every nail-biting moment from inside the room at the star-studded event.
Hosting Seven’s exclusive, live and free coverage from Crown Melbourne will be 7AFL commentator Hamish McLachlan alongside 7NEWS Melbourne chief sport presenter Rebecca Maddern.
The festivities will kick off with the Brownlow Medal Red Carpet where viewers will be greeted by 7AFL host and field commentator Abbey Holmes, alongside an energetic crew of 7Sport’s most entertaining faces including Emma Freedman, Dale Thomas and Matthew Richardson. Together, they’ll bring all the red carpet magic, quizzing the game’s biggest players and their partners with all the burning questions before the count gets underway.
The Brownlow Medal marks the beginning of football’s biggest week, leading into the AFL grand final on Saturday, September 26 on Seven and 7plus Sport.
Following the Brownlow Medal, The Agenda Setters returns to Seven and 7plus Sport at 8.30pm on Tuesday, September 22, with a grand final special of the hard-hitting program, headlined by host Kane Cornes, Walkley Award-winning journalist Caroline Wilson, Luke Hodge and Dale Thomas.
On Wednesday night, Seven will premiere the feature-length documentary Centimetre Perfect, honouring the life and career of beloved Australian broadcasting icon Dennis Cometti at 8.30pm on Seven and 7plus Sport.
A Seven Sport production more than 12 months in the making, Centimetre Perfect brings together the people who witnessed, shared and helped shape Dennis Cometti’s remarkable journey including, his son, Mark Cometti, Olympic champions Kieren Perkins and Susie O’Neill, as well as broadcasting royalty and AFL legends Bruce McAvaney, Eddie McGuire, Sandy Roberts, Basil Zempilas, Nick Riewoldt, Chris Judd and Bob Murphy.
Then, on Thursday night, AFLW Round 7 action kicks off, as Geelong host Hawthorn at GMHBA stadium from 7pm AEST on 7mate and 7plus Sport.
Also on Thursday night, Mick Molloy, Sam Pang and Andy Maher take their seats at The Front Bar for one last time for the 2026 AFL season as they celebrate a special grand final edition of everyone’s favourite sports show from 8.30pm on Seven and 7plus Sport.
