The best early October Prime Day Apple sales include the iPad Air and MacBooks at record lows

Apple doesn’t really do sales — at least not in the way we wish they would. (Could you imagine a 70%-off Apple fall clearance sale?) That’s why every October, during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, Apple shoppers like me perk up like someone just whispered “free storage upgrade” in their ear. Whether you’re eyeing a MacBook, an iPad or a fresh set of AirPods, this is one of the rare moments when Apple gear actually drops well below sticker price.

This year is especially interesting. With the new AirPods Pro 3 and Apple Watch Series 11 already shipping, discounts on last year’s models should start looking sweeter by the day. The iPad Air is sitting pretty at $449, while the MacBook Air is down to $799 — both all-time lows you can snag right now without playing the “wait and see” game.
