Popular Bellevue Orchard juice varieties recalled over mould contamination fears

Two popular juices sold across Australia have been recalled due to fears of mould contamination.

The affected products are Bellevue Orchard’s 1L Summer Snow Pink Lady Apple Juice and 2L Summer Snow Granny Smith Apple Juice.

The former has been sold at Farmers Pick and Royal Foods in Victoria and online, while the Granny Smith line has been sold nationwide at independent retailers including IGA, as well as online.

Customers are advised to check the best before dates on bottles. The recalled Pink Lady products have best before dates of March 8 and March 12, 2027, while the Granny Smith will be labelled best before March 29, 2027.

There are concerns both lines may not have been pasteurised successfully, resulting in microbial contamination. They may cause illness if consumed.

Customers should return the juices to their place of purchase for a full refund.
